He is the lead vocal of the American Rock Band, The Doors as mentioned above.

He was born James Douglas Morrison in Melbourne, Florida on December 8, 1943 and died on July 3, 1971. He was famous known as a lead singer in The Doors. However, he was also a songwriter and a poet.

His father was a military officer, George Stephen Morrison, who's married with Clara Clark Morrison. They were both employed by the United States Navy.

When Jim Morrison went to Paris to concentrate on songwriting in 1971, he was found dead in a bathtub, and he was only 27 at the time. Some say that the cause of his death was drug overdoes, and others say that he was assassinated by American government authorities. However, the official marked the cause as a heartattack. Some of his fans believe that Jim Morrison is not dead and that he just wanted to escpape the spotlight which was why he pretended to die. Consipiracy theorists point out that Morrison's girlfriend, Pamela Courson, told the media that Jim Morrison was "very tired and resting in a hospital." Yet, very few people had actually seen the corpse of Jim Morrison on its burial.
