Provolone is a semi-hard, sharp tasting, whole-milk cow cheese originating in soutern Italy. It comes in many shapes and sizes. It can be produced in a watermelon shape, a bottle shape, in a large pear shape with a characteristic knob for hanging or a long salami shape. It can be 30cm in diameter and 90cm long and can weigh anywhere around 5kg (about 11lbs). It is claimed to have been created and named by the Provenzo family but there is no evidence to back this claim up. It is made by kneading the curd while it is still hot, which makes it firm and elastic. Though the aging proccess makes it hard. It does not becomes crumbly. It is made by using the cow's morning and evening milkings which gives it its sharp taste.
There are two types of this cheese;
  • Provolone Dolce is a slightly mild, creamy, delicate form of provolone which is aged for up to three months.
  • Provolone Piccante is a sharp, dry, tougher form which is aged for up to a year.

Edson Arantes do Nascimento, best known as Pele, is a former Brazilian football player and one who many people regard as the greatest football player of all time. In Brazil he is hailed as "The King of Football" and declared a national treasure by the government of Brazil. He was given the titles of Footballer of the Century and Athlete of the Century.
He started playing for The Santos Futebol Club at 15 and won his first World Cup at just 17 years of age. He stayed with the club until his retirement in 1977. He played inside forward, striker, and the playmaker position. He is known for his legenday goalscoring and prolific dribbling.
He is the all time top goal scorer on the Brazilian team and the only footballer to ever win three world cups.
His famous number 10 shirt is prized by football fans and players all over the globe. He scored five goals in a game six times, four goals 30 times and three goals 90 times. He was born across the mountains from the great coastal cities of Brazil, in the impoverished town of Tres Coracoes. Nicknamed Dico by his family, he was called Pele by football friends, a word whose origins escape him. The end of hiscareer finally came in 1977 when Pele hung up his boots for good and settled for a role as a sporting ambassador, later becoming Brazil's Minister for Sport. He also popped up from time to time endorsing the virtues of Pespi Cola and Viagra. He has written a couple of autobiographies and has also had a small acting career.

It was invented by Edwin Perkins in 1927 as an alternative to the liquid drink concentrate to lower shipping costs. He moved his prduction to Chicago and sold Kool-Aid to General Foods in 1953. Because it was invented in Nebraska, it is dubbed the official drink of Nebraska and there is an annual festival called Kool-Aid Days in Hastings.
The mascot of Kool-Aid is called the Kool-Aid Man. He is a giant pitcher of red Kool-Aid with a fingerprint face who bursts through walls saying his catchphrase, "Oh Yeah!"
The origional 6 flavors or Kool-Aid were; Cherry, Grape, Lemon-Lime, Orange, Raspberry and Strawberry. Nowadays, there are over a hundred flavors.
Because of the Jonestown Massacre, the terms "Drink the Kool-Aid" or "Dont drink the Kool-Aid" have become popular.
The Kool-Aid Man has made numerous appearances on tv shows like "Family Guy" and in songs like "All Out" by Tupac and its trademarked face even appeared on the cover of Bon Jovi's album "Have a Nice Day"
